Menu and favorites

The Menu option on the home session lists the menu items to which you have access as well as has a Favorites area for your favorite menu items—ones you use most frequently.

To open a new session, you can either double-click a menu item from your favorites list or the menu area. When you open an item from the menu, the function will open in task mode, which allows you to access members one after the other for quick and efficient data entry or information updates. Refer to the Work in task mode topic for details.

Add a menu option to favorites

  1. In the Menu section, select a menu from the list.
  2. In the Area box, select an area.
  3. select the Function within that area.
  4. Click the .
  5. In the Add Favorite window, type a nickname for the function.
    • You can give the menu item any name you want including a sentence or phrase that represents a task you perform regularly in that function, for example, "Enroll a new member" or "Update Member Addresses".
  6. Click OK. The menu item will show in the Favorites area.

Edit a favorite

You can change the nickname for a menu item that displays in your Favorites list.

  1. In the Favorites area, select the item whose nickname you want to edit.
  2. Click the icon.
  3. In the Edit Favorite window, change the nickname for the menu item.
  4. Click OK.

Delete a favorite

  1. In the Favorites area, select the item you want to delete.
  2. Click the .
